Discover Kaltenbronn with a 4.5 hour walk (including stops) around unique ecosystems of the Wildsee and Hohlohsee, finishing with the impressive views of the Black Forest from the top of the Hohlohturm.
Length of walking tour is 11.8 km.
Target Group: This is an English speaking tour within the Schwarzwald. While the route is classed as light, participants should have a good level of fitness to confidently walk 12 kilometres, This equates to 3 hours of walking time with a total duration out on the tour of 4.5 hours.
Meeting point: P1 Kaltenbronn

Time: 10am, Tour end is 14:30pm.
We will finish the walk in Kaltenbronn where there is a hotel restaurant if you’d like to finish with coffee and cake before travelling home but there are no huts on the walking route itself.
Additional Information:
Correct walking shoes and clothing (for time of year) are necessary.
Don’t forget to bring a pack lunch and sufficient drinking water (Min. 1.5l pp).
The cost of the tour is 15 € per person to cover walking guide time & planning costs, including the agreement with the ForstBW.
Participation is at own risk, each participant is expected to have sufficient health & accident insurance.

To support sustainable travel, we promote use of public transport. If you are willing and able to provide car sharing, please indicate this during the booking process, we will be in contact with you if there others coming from your area.
Alternative meeting point is at Pforzheim Hauptbahnhof, at 8:30am. Travel is self-payment as many have the Deutschland monthly card already.
Parking: There are several parking options at Kaltenbronn, P-E, F, G are convenient.
